Many brides and grooms are busy planning their very special day! The clock is ticking with last minute details. One of the most important things to do is to make sure your skin is “picture perfect”. Here are five things you can do to ensure that your skin looks its best on your special day:
1. Two months out
Consult with an Esthetician. We will evaluate your skin and recommend a great program for you to have your skin glowing and looking your best on your big day. You will learn which products to use for your specific skin type and how to properly care for it. Be sure to ask your esthetician for recommendations to curb the effects of stress on the skin. It’s best to start getting monthly facials anywhere from 2-6 months prior to your wedding day. You'll also want to include an exfoliating treatment, or peel at least 6 weeks in advance for best results. This will leave plenty of time for any necessary additional treatments to ensure smooth, even-toned skin.
As always, you should be sure to drink plenty of water to hydrate your skin and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables to cleanse it of any impurities from the inside out. Implement a good stress management plan too. No matter how organized you are, the months leading up to your wedding will be filled with both stress and excitement!
